Well... today is the day.
These past couple days have been great. My family, friends, and co-workers have been amazing and I cannot wait to share this experience with everyone.
My head has been spinning with all of the last minute things I need to do.
I am leaving in an hour and a half for the airport and I feel as though I need at least another day I am to make sure everything is ready to go.
All in all I think I am pretty calm. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. We will find out later I guess.
Adapting to life out there is something I know I can do- I am pretty go with the flow. Except I have to say that I am uneasy about this no cell phone, lack of communication thing. I can't help to think " this is what people in the 80's must felt like," which is a very 21st century way of thinking and I am ashamed my mind is working that way.. but I cannot help it.
Once I get my barrings and figure everything out- please believe there will be pictures and postings all the time--
