Como Se Dicce...?

So I just got back from going to my first sit down Italian restaurant. I went with my roommate Alex. All in all I think it went pretty good. 

It is called Tavernette Della Signoria. The food was delicious of course. 

My waiter kept on making me nervous though because I only know basic Italian words, and he realized that very quickly. He kept of asking me different questions about why I was here and what I was studying. Alex knows a bit of Italian and tried to answer but he did not let her after the first time. He got a kick out of watching me squirm a bit, but he wanted me to learn what to say and how to answer people when they speak to you. At the end though he gave me a big smile- I think he liked me.

My goal is to go in there in a month or so and just chat it up with him. Ask HIM a bunch of questions and show him that I can speak Italian.
